His Purple Majesty's Finest ...

By

Prince Rogers Nelson is one of the most talented and longest-lasting musical geniuses that America has ever produced. His debut album, For You, was released in 1978 and his latest, 20Ten, came out in 2010, which means that his body of work has spanned five straight decades. And during that time, he's released dozens of songs that have gone on to become hits. Here's about.com's picks for the best Prince songs of all time. Not all are purely R&B, but each has at least an R&B, Soul and/or Funk element somewhere in the mix.
