Johnta hasn't even released his first album yet, but he's already among the most successful people in R&B. Why? Many of the songs he's written or co-written for Mariah Carey ("We Belong Together," "Shake It Off") Tyrese ("Sweet Lady") and Mary J. Blige, among others, have gone on to be big hits.
What's Next for Him:
After being pushed back numerous times due to label politics, Johnta's debut album, Ocean Drive, is currently scheduled to be released on Sept. 4, 2007.
