In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Prince revealed that he'd be releasing two solo albums in 2009, one guitar oriented and one pop song oriented. MPLSOUND is the poppier album, focusing on vintage Prince. The other, Lotusflow3r, is rock guitar-based. Also coming out under the Prince umbrella is an album called Elixer by his latest protege, the singer Bria Valente.
