Jennifer Hudson is a true triple threat, excelling as a singer, film/TV actress, and also as a Broadway performer. Her career began in 2006, portraying Effie White in the film version of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Dreamgirls" co-starring Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy. She earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and received a Screen Actors Guild Award and an NAACP Image Award for her debut role.
