After a four-year absence, VH1 revived its annual "VH1 Divas" show with a live performance before a sold-out crowd of 2,100 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Howard Gilman Opera House. Ex-"American Idol" judge Paul Abdul hosted the event, and performers included Kelly Clarkson (accompanied by Melissa Etheridge), Jordin Sparks (with Martina McBride), Jennifer Hudson (with the only male artist to perform, Stevie Wonder), Adele (India.Arie), Miley Cyrus (and Sheryl Crow) and Leona Lewis (with Cyndi Lauper).
