British songstress/trainwreck Amy Winehouse has been arrested multiple times, but this particular incident occurred in April 2008, after she admitted to common assault and turned herself in. She arrived in no condition to be interviewed, according to London police, and was released the next day with a warning. Less than a month later, on May 7, 2008, she was arrested on suspicion of drug possession, after a British tabloid captured a video of her smoking what it claimed was crack cocaine. Ultimately, Scotland Yard officials couldn’t prove from the video that the substance in question was controlled, and there was no forensic evidence to test. Winehouse was released on bail without charges.
