It was a year ago today, on June 25, 2009, that one of the greatest entertainers in music history, Michael Jackson, unexpectedly died, right as he was preparing for a series of sold-out concerts in London. And even though his passing was a sad, sad, occasion for many of us, the one good thing that resulted from his passing is that all the controversies of his past were forgotten and forgiven, and people again focused on what was really important: his music and showmanship. And as this photo gallery shows, fans in Hollywood, New York City and Las Vegas commemorated the event in different ways.
