More than 500 songwriters, recording artists and music industry leaders gathered at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles for the 20th Anniversary ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards on June 25. The Rhythm & Soul Awards, which is a private, invitation-only event, annually salutes the top songwriters and publishers behind the most popular music of the year. Mark Edward Nero, aka your Guide to R&B, was at the event and took pics of some of the singers, songwriters and producers who were in the house.
