This month's new albums list is a little weird: included on it are a couple of albums that came out in August. Mon., Aug. 31, to be exact. Both albums, Whitney Houston's I Look to You and Trey Songz's Ready, had their releases pushed up by a day so that they could meet the deadline for Grammy consideration. But even though they dropped at the end of August, many stores won't have them on their shelves until Sept. 1, since that's the day every other new album that week drops. Anyway, other new albums this month include the much-delayed joint from Mariah Carey. Check below for more details.

1. Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, Mariah Carey

Memoirs will include a music CD, an enhanced CD and a 36 page mini Elle magazine with an inside look at Mariah. It'll be in stores Sept. 29 via Island Records.
