New R&B Albums: June 2008

What's New?

By , About.com Guide

It looks like June - which is Black Music Month - will be another strong month for R&B, just like the previous month was. Coming up in June is the long-awaited fourth album by pop-R&B star Ashanti, as well as releases by other artists who don't have Ashanti's mainstream appeal, but more than make up for it with their genuine soulfulness, including the sophisticated Chante Moore, Detroit soul man Dwele and the lovely Lalah Hathaway. Also on deck this month: re-releases of the latest albums by teen superstars (and current hot couple) Rihanna and Chris Brown. Check below for the full list.
