2. "Joe Who? Joe Thomas," Joe
The lead single from this album was dropped in July 2006, with the promise of an album before the end of the year. Hasn't happened yet. Ironically, that single was called "Baby Where You At?" Where are you at, Joe?Originally,
Special Occasion was due out Sept. 19, 2006. Then it was pushed back to October. Then November. Then December. But now? The latest word is that it'll finally be released in February 2007.
4. "The Musical," Nina Sky
This twin-sister singing duo was supposed to drop their third studio album in September 2006, but it's since been pushed back to a (supposedly) February 2007 release. We'll see.5. "Emotional Rollercoaster," KeKe Wyatt
The new album by the infamous husband stabber KeKe Wyatt was originally due in early 2006 when she was signed to hip-hop label Cash Money Records. But she was dropped from Cash Money, then signed with TVT Records in August 2006. Emotional Rollercoaster is now due out sometime in 2007.Back in late September, 13-year-old Mic was saying that his self-titled album would be out in November 2006. And now? Well, apparently Def Jam still hasn't decided on when it'll be in stores. No release date is set.
7. "Milk & Honey," Tamar Davis
This Prince protege is turning out to be as mysterious as the Purple One himself. Milk & Honey was supposed to be released in the U.S. on Aug. 29, 2006. But then rumors surfaced that she was dropped by her label, Universal. After that, she disappeared without a trace and no album has been released.Back in the spring of 2006, Cheri dropped a single called "I Love You," then promptly disappeared. Well, her album's supposedly set to be released sometime in January. But since her label, Bad Boy, has been treating her like a distant relative, you may not want to hold your breath waiting for the album.
Although
The First Seed has already been released in the U.K., for some reason her label, Motown, hasn't seen fit to release it in the U.S. (probably because of the tepid reaction to the three singles that never caught on in America. The word is that the album's U.S. release may never come.
10. "Split Personality," Mila J.
Originally set for release in October 2006 and then November 2006, the offical word is that Split Personality is supposed to come out sometime in 2007, although no official release date has been confirmed.
