Usher's fifth album, the official follow-up to 2004's Confessions, was due to be released in 2007, but personal issues, marriage, a baby, etc.) took precedence. The current word is that The Truth (or whatever Usher the album's final title turns out to be) might be released in the Spring. Most of the album's leaked material, including a collaboration with Ludacris, are not completed songs and might not be on the final album, Usher has said. As of January 2008, Usher was trying to record a song with Michael Jackson for the album.
