A couple of times over the past few months, yours truly has blogged about new songs from up-and-coming singer-songwriter Stacy Barthe. The songs were taken from her then-unreleased eight song EP, P.S., I Love You. Well, on Valentine's Day, the digital EP was quietly released for free download. So quietly in fact, that it escaped our notice until it had already been floating around for a week. But be that as it may, it's still pretty new, so it's worthy of mention. The EP features both songs blogged about here previously, of course, "Flawed, Beautiful Creatures" and "To Be Loved," as well as six more tracks, including a must-hear called "Stingy," which is about a woman struggling with the thought that her man might be spreading his love around, and how she wishes to keep him all to herself. Here's Stacy in an online note explaining the particulars of the EP's release:
"I've decided to give my new EP, P.S. I Love You, away for free. Above all, I'm doing this to thank the fans and friends who have been on this journey with me from the beginning and will continue to support me in the future. Enjoy P.S. I Love You, and get ready for more to come in 2013."
So there you have it. The EP can be downloaded from multiple locations, including mixtape website datpiff.com. A link's included below.
