Earlier this month, ex-Floetry member Marsha Ambrosius dropped "Cold War," the first single from her upcoming second solo album, Friends & Lovers. But she's not content to sit back and watch the song work it's way up the charts; instead, she's also dropped a free digital mixtape that serves as a prelude to the upcoming album. And as the name suggests, Marsha's Hors D'Oeuvres (Prelude: Friends & Lovers) mixtape contains a few new songs that serve as a teaser to the full album. The five-song prelude was mixed by DJ Aktive (he constantly reminds you of this throughout) and runs about 17 minutes in length. In addition to an opening interlude, there are four full songs: "Expect This Sh*t," "Slow Motion," "Summer" and "FCKINGITITOVAWID," the latter of which is a verrry NSFW break-up song.
