About 10 days ago, yours truly blogged about a new song called "Flawed, Beautiful Creatures" by a talented, up-and-coming singer/songwriter named Stacy Barthe and mentioned that her latest EP is due out by the end of the year. Well, if you were feeling the vibe from her last song, here's a new track for you to check out, along with more info about her new EP's release. The latest musical offering is an uplifting song called "To Be Loved," which is about how a positive relationship between two people can make you a stronger person, both mentally and spiritually.
"You make impossible so possible, With you I feel like I can move mountains, I searched around high and low, You just don't come close to anything I've ever known," she sings to her perfect match on the song. "There's nothing more I'd rather be, than to be loved, loved by you."
The song has a warm, mellow tone and sounds like something you might hear during the climactic scene or end credits of a romantic film. The EP the song will appear on, P.S., I Love You, is due out Dec. 11, 2012 via Motown/HomeSchool/Stellar Music Ink'D, but you don't have to wait until then to be bathed in some of it's audio sunshine.
