R&B singer-songwriter Miguel Pimentel, who's one of R&B's more creative young artists, is taking an unusual approach to the release of his upcoming album. In July, he dropped a three-song EP called Kaleidoscope Dream: the Water Preview, which features three of the 11 songs on the full album. And on Sept. 11, he'll release Kaleidoscope Dream: the Air Preview, featuring three more of the album's songs. And the full album, which is simply called Kaleidoscope Dream, is due to drop Oct. 2, 2012. But although his approach to releasing music's different from the norm, at least one aspect of promoting it is almost as old as music itself: the live performance. Or to be more specific, the concert tour. Starting in early September, Miguel's performing a series of shows in major cities across the U.S., plus one in London, England. The last show's currently scheduled for New York City the day before the album drops, but as is always with concert tours, the itinerary's subject to change, and shows could be added or subtracted here and there. The current schedule's included below, but for the most up-to-date info and for ticket prices and availability, check out Miguel's page at ticketmaster.com.
