One of R&B's more underrated artists, singer-songwriter Anthony David, is currently prepping his latest album for release later in 2012. He's already given a taste of what to expect from it with "So Jaded," a song about having your heart broken and then becoming a hardened skeptic when it comes to falling in love. And now he's offering a softer take on human emotion with "Sweet Pain." Anthony's been known for years for his smart narratives in his lyrics, but on the song, he forgoes the narratives in favor of a more simple approach. Basically, this is a straight-up sex jam, with Anthony seducing the listener with lyrics like "I been watching, waiting, hoping, wishing we could get it on together, let me introduce you to some sweet pain." The album the song's from, Love Out Loud, will be the follow-up to his March 2011 release, As Above So Below, and his December 2011 EP, #LocationLocationLocation. Love Out Loud, is due out early this fall via Purpose Music Group/eOne Music. In the meantime, the first two singles can be streamed via the links below.
