For the past few years, R&B singer Bobby V. -- formerly known as Bobby Valentino -- has been releasing his music independently, through his self-owned Blu Kolla Dreams label. And although Blu Kolla is still intact, Bobby's decided to join forces with a larger indie label, eOne Music, to put out his fifth studio album, Dusk Till Dawn. eOne, (which was previously called E1 and Koch Records), has a good track record with R&B artists: it's the current home label of such artists as Brian McKnight, Faith Evans, Dwele, Ashanti and Donell Jones, among others. Bobby, who's probably best known for his debut single, "Slow Down," has just released the first single from the new album: it's a lusty, sexually-charged track called "Mirror." The song, which features Lil Wayne, marks the third time track the pair have collaborated on, with the others being a remix of Bobby's 2005 song "Tell Me" and the 2008 Wayne track "Mrs. Officer." BV's album is due in the fall of 2012, but for now, the first single's available for streaming via the link below.
