After appearing on and producing songs for numerous other urban music artists, including Keri Hilson, Trey Songz and Kelly Rowland, singer-rapper Kevin McCall, aka K-Mac, is jump starting his own career as a recording artist. McCall, who's best known up to this point for appearing on Chris Brown's comeback single "Deuces," just dropped a new song called "Naked," which is presumably from his upcoming debut album. I say "presumably" because as of right now, the label he's signed to, RCA Records, isn't forthcoming with any additional info. But as far as the song, it's an uptempo sex jam where K-Mac brags about his sexual prowess. Too be honest, the lyrics and vocals aren't anything special, but the song has two saving graces: the first is a few stupidly funny lyrics by the rapper Big Sean (two examples: "When I'm her ya-ya, it turn to an opera" and "ran through the coochie, almost pulled a hammy"). But the second, and more important, thing that makes the song worth hearing is the ridiculous, hard-thumping beat that gives the track it's attitude and pushes it forward. More details about an upcoming album by Kevin McCall will be posted once they become known, but the meantime, I recommended giving "Naked" a listen via the link below.
