During November 2011, about.com is counting down its picks for the dozen best R&B, Soul and Funk music groups of all time. A new name is added to the list each day beginning Nov. 7. No. 12 is '90s girl group En Vogue; a quartet of talented songbirds who were all strangers to one another before being put together in a group by producers Denzil Foster & Thomas McElroy. After initial success in the early-to-mid '90s, their career went through turmoil, but as of 2009, the four original members are back together and active on the music scene.
