Who's Next 2011For years, music critics and fans had been heralding the death of R&B, saying that the genre is on its last legs. But obviously R&B and Soul music are still around and probably will be as long as music exists. And yours truly is here to testify: there's seven artists who are (hopefully) dropping albums in 2011 that'll prove that good R&B and Soul music are still very much alive. Not all these artists will be household names by the end of the year, or will rack up huge sales or lots of awards. But so far each has displayed an amount of talent that indicates that R&B as a form of music is far from dead. And with that said, behold the 2011 edition of Who's Next: the Future of R&B.
