If you're a fan of international football (the game us Americans call soccer), then you probably know that the 2010 FIFA World Cup was held in the great nation of South Africa this year. But what you might not have known is that a number of American R&B artists recorded music that commemorates the event. One such song was R. Kelly's "Sign of a Victory," and another is "Victory," by politically-conscious American R&B singer Goapele and South African artist Hip Hop Pantsula. The song is taken from the upcoming tribute album Victory, which features a variety of African and African American artists.
