R&B/Jazz singer Kem Owens is releasing his third album (and first since 2005), Intimacy, next month, and if you haven't heard it already, here's the first single, "Why Would You Stay?" It's about a man who begs forgiveness for doing his woman wrong, while at the same time admitting that she deserves a better man, plus calling himself a fool for messing up and wondering why she would even stay with him. Now that's deep. Intimacy is due out Aug. 17, less than two weeks after he begins touring as co-headliner (with Anthony Hamilton) of the 2010 Budweiser Superfest. The song on the mp3 stream is Share My Life not Why Would You Stay. I LOVE Share My Life. Is that available to buy on itunes?
Yaya, thanks for pointing out that the wrong song was posted. Turns out the record label made a mistake and had their songs mixed up. The real stream of “Why Would You Stay?” will be posted later today.
And sorry, but “Share My Life” isn’t on iTunes yet, and might not be until around the time that the full album’s released in mid-August.
