K'Jon, a Detroit, Michigan native, cut his chops grooming local artists as a producer and songwriter. He's already released two indie solo projects while at the same time working with other artists, including having his song "Miami" appear on the 2 Fast 2 Furious movie soundtrack. His resume also includes exploring multiple music genres, including Soul, Hip-Hop and R&B, plus working with noted stars like Tone Tone and opening live shows for Ginuwine, Ne-Yo, T-Pain and others. His full-length major-label debut album, I Get Around, is due to drop Aug. 4, 2009 via Universal Republic.
