Chrisette Michele Feat. Ne-Yo - "What You Do"

Tuesday April 21, 2009
Chrisette Michele - EpiphanyChrisette Michele has said she wants her second album, Epiphany (due out May 5, 2009 via Def Jam) to be more hip: "On my new project I wanted to raise the bar and step-out of my comfort zone. I wanted to make songs that were more edgy, youthful and urban," she revealed in a recent interview. And though that might be the case, old habits die hard: her latest single, "What You Do" is more along the lines of the more jazzy, sophisticated material from her debut album, 2007's I Am. "What You Do," which features Ne-Yo, is a flowing, piano-based love song that, although fairly upbeat, is still more mature than you might expect from a 26-year-old like Chrisette, not that that's a bad thing. And with that said, you can hear it for yourself by clicking the link below.
