This might be hard to wrap your head around, but according to her bio, Skye Taylor has been a professional vocalist since she was just 11 years old. I don't know what I was doing when I was 11 - probably reading comic books and forgetting to brush my teeth - so it's amazing to me that Skye, who's a little older now and now signed to Siri Music, was so focused at a young age. Skye, a Brooklyn native, has a very polished, melodic voice that manages to sound both strong and tender at the same time. Exhibit A is her current single, "Blessed," which is about cheating men and the heartache they cause.
