Some of the more interesting news and rumors from the past week:
- Keyshia Cole's and Jamie Foxx's new albums debuted at No.'s 2 and 3 on last week's Billboard albums chart. Keyshia's A Different Me sold 322,000 copies in its firt week in stores and Jamie's Intuition solf 265,000 copies.
- Also debuting in the top 20 last week was Anthony Hamilton's latest album, The Point of it All, which debuted at No. 12 with 133,000 copies sold.
- T-Pain feels like he hasn’t gotten enough credit for his music: "I don’t understand why the most hated-on artist is ... the most copied," he said.
- Teairra Mari is teaming up with Pleasure P on the single "Hunt 4 You," which will reportedly be on her upcoming second studio album.
- Michael Jackson's spokesperson denies a report that the artist is ill with a serious lung disease, calling the claim "a total fabrication."
- Brother and sister Ray J and Brandy will share the stage & may perform together at BET's annual New Year's bash "106 & Party."
