- A parole review official on Nov. 10 refused to release the convicted felon questioned in the killings of Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and nephew, after a witness reported seeing him with a gun similar to the one used in the slayings.
- Lil' Mo, best known for the hit "Superwoman pt. II," signed a two album deal with Global Music Group and will release a new album in 2009.
- If Sean Levert had been jailed in March in either of Ohio's two other major jails instead of Cuyahoga County's, he might still be alive.
- Mariah Carey claims she made Nick Cannon wait until after they were married before she had sex with him.
- At last! India.Arie's new album, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, is scheduled to be released Feb. 10.
