Some of the more interesting news and rumors from the past week:
- Maxwell introduced several new songs on Oct. 9 during a show at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, part of his first tour in six years. The songs "Pretty Wings," "Bad Habits" and "Comb" will all be on his next album, Black Summers' Night.
- Jennifer Hudson's self-titled debut album debuted at No. 2 on last week's Billboard chart. Robin Thicke's latest was No. 3. At No. 1 was T.I.'s Paper Trail.
- Beyonce will release videos for her two new singles "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" via MTV, BET, VH1 and Fuse on Mon., Oct. 13.
- T-Boz (of TLC) and Brian McKnight are both rumored to be among the cast of the next season of the "Celebrity Apprentice" reality show.
- The-Dream says he wishes his second album, Love Vs. Money, was coming out next February instead of this December.
- John Legend and Raphael Saadiq are going on tour together. Their first show is Nov. 19 in Minneapolis.
- And speaking of tours, Usher's "One Night Stand: Ladies Only" tour begins Nov. 2 in Atlantic City.
