New Music: Nikka Costa - "Stuck To You"

Nikka Costa is one of those artists who's perpetually under the radar in the United States: many long-time music fans - yours truly included - don't really know much about her. She's been making music since the '80s but doesn't get a lot of shine in comparison to more mainstream acts, partially because her vintage mix of Soul, Blues and Funk are more popular in Europe than in the U.S., despite the fact that she's American. Well, Nikka's back with a new song, "Stuck To You," which is the first single from her new album, Pebble To A Pearl, which drops Oct. 14 via her own label, Go Funk Yourself, in conjunction with Stax Records. I was just listening to Nikka’s Like a Feather yesterday and wondering when she would resurface. This is good news. Go Nikka…looking forward to hearing more of her new material.
