R&B News N Rumors: 10/04/08 Edition

Some of the more interesting news and rumors from the past week:
- Beyonce is scheduling a 2009 tour in support of her currently-untitled third solo album, due Nov. 18. She'll play international dates next spring, followed by a North American tour in early summer.
- Janet Jackson became suddenly ill in Montreal during a stop on her concert tour and later postponed shows in Boston and Philadelphia.
- Brandy and her younger brother Ray J might record an album of duets called R&B - short for Ray and Brandy.
- Ne-Yo is working on a semi-autobiographical movie called Venice Beach that's loosely based on his life.
- KEM is working on his third album, KEM III: Intimacy, which he hopes to release sometime in 2009.
- Chris Brown has launched a new brand of underwear called Big Headed.
- Jennifer Hudson's new album is one the best releases of the year.

I love Jennifer Hudson, God knows I do. I am so happy that sista girl has found love with an intelligent brotha. Unfortunately, her photos are the best thing about this album.
Can I have your user id and password so I can login to about.com and take back one of Jennifer Hudson’s stars? Like Jennifer Hudson sings, “WE (you and I) GON’ FIGHT” if you think this album is one of the best of the year. Now, I don’t know which album I would name as one of the best since I’ve been cheap and haven’t bought much this year; but, JHUD needs to take this CD out of the SPOTLIGHT cause it is BORING and LOUD and she should go put it in the DARK.
P.S. I am going to call PETA. They need to protest the song she did with Fantasia ’cause it sounds like there are some cats being harmed in the making of that song.

. I didn’t like J-Hud’s album when I first listened to it either, but it grew on me pretty quickly. Try listening a few more times, U might start to like it.
