New R&B Albums: October 2008

September was the biggest month of 2008 for new, quality R&B and Soul albums, so October's bound to be a little bit of a letdown. There aren't a whole lot of contemporary superstars putting out new music in October, with the exception of John Legend, whose third studio album, Evolver, comes out Oct. 14. But there are a few other stars, some of whom you might be familiar with, like ex-Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams, '90s hit men Jon B. and Montell Jordan, and the reunited trio Labelle (Sarah Dash, Nona Hendryx and Patti LaBelle), who until now hadn't released a new album in over 30 years.
