Some of the more interesting news and rumors from the past week:
- Chris Brown says he will never talk about his rumored girlfriend Rihanna or his personal life, and that he's tired of the constant questions and prying into his rumored relationship with the pop diva.
- Kelly Rowland recently shot a TV pilot in Miami for a travel and lifestyle series that she'll host called "Around The World." It's supposedly a hip, modern version of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."
- R. Kelly is considering jumping from Jive Records to Interscope or another label. Meanwhile, a group of African-American intellectuals are planning to boycott Kelly until he 'gets help for his behavior.'
- After weeks of investigation, foul play has been ruled out in the case of the fire that destroyed the studio of singer-producer Teddy Riley. The blaze is being blamed on electrical problems.
- Syleena Johnson will make her return to the music world on her 32nd birthday, Sept. 2, 2008, with a new album called Chapter 4: Labor Pains.
- Natalie Cole has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C, a liver disease. The disease was likely caused by previous years of drug abuse.
- Dave Hollister's first studio album since 2006, Witness Protection, comes out Aug. 5 via Zomba Records.
