R. Kelly was acquitted today (Fri., June 13) of charges that he appeared on a videotape having sex with an underage girl. The jury cleared the R&B superstar of all 14 child pornography counts. After the verdict was read, Kelly dabbed at his face with a handkerchief and hugged each of his four attorneys, according to news reports. The verdict brought to an end a criminal case that had been pending for six years.
