Solo Star - was released (and went nowhere),
Solange Knowles, aka Beyonce's
little younger sister, has jumped back in the music game. Sol is gearing up to drop her sophomore album,
Sol-AngeL and the Hadley St. Dreams, via Geffen Records on Aug. 26. The first single, "I Decided," has been been out for awhile, but wasn't posted here until now 'cause yours truly wasn't really feelin' it. Turns out that I just didn't
get it; your girl Sol was going for a throwback, doo-wop sound here, courtesy of producer Pharrell Williams (of the Neptunes). And if the singing were better, this might actually be a pretty good song. To stream "I Decided," click on the link below or on the photo.
