Chauncey Black - "Everyday is Your Birthday"
Wednesday April 30, 2008
If the name Chauncey Black rings a bell but you can't quite put your finger on why, here's a hint: no diggity. That's right, Chauncey was a member of the Teddy Riley-led vocal group BLACKstreet, which was big in the '90s with the hits "Before I Let You Go" and "No Diggity." Well, Chauncey's back - this time with Busta Rhymes' Flipmode Records - and has just dropped "Everyday is Your Birthday," a BLACKstreet-ish song about pampering that special someone as much as possible. It's the first single from his upcoming solo album, Church Boy. The album doesn't have a release date yet, but you can listen to the song by clicking the link below or on the photo of Chauncey. And if you feel inclined, please give your opinion of the song in the Comments section below.
