Music: Mary Mary - "Carol of the Bells"
Thursday December 13, 2007
Christmas is coming soon - it's about a week and a half away as this is being written - so here's some holiday music for you. This song's a lush, sophisticated remake of the holiday classic "Carol of the Bells," which had its beginnings as, believe it or not, a Ukrainian folk song in the early 1900s. This version can be found on A Mary Mary Christmas, the holiday album that R&B/Gospel duo Mary Mary released back in October 2006. The album was helmed by noted producer Warryn "Baby Dubb" Campbell, who happens to be the husband of Mary Mary singer Erica Campbell. Just click on a link below to stream the song. Enjoy. And Happy Holidays. :)

Hard to believe it was a folk song at first. OK christmas song, typical Mary Mary.
Hey, do you take “album review” requests? Like from years before?
Usually, I review R&B albums that haven’t been released yet or were released within the past couple of weeks, D. But if U have a request, maybe I can oblige …
Thanks!! That would be great, that would make this site different from the rest if you would take request and have a FULL review of all artists. I saw on another ABOUT.COM site that they had all the Mariah Carey albums reviewed.
Do you want me to leave the request in the comment section or send it DIRECTLY?
Send it directly to randb.guide@about.com, if U don’t mind.
