Jagged Edge Heads to the WWE

Wednesday September 19, 2007
Jagged Edge - Baby Makin' ProjectThe four members of Jagged Edge - twin brothers Brian & Brandon Casey, plus Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman - will be on a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) TV show later this week, but no, they won't be putting on tights and going up against pro wrestlers like The Undertaker and Ric Flair. J.E. has been hired to perform at the storyline wedding of two characters on the show, Theodore Long and Kristal Marshall. WWE has even posted an interview with Brandon and Brian on its website in order to hype the performance and promote the group's new album, Baby Makin' Project, which comes out next Tuesday. The show J.E. will appear on, Friday Night Smackdown, airs on The CW network this coming Friday in the U.S., but was actually taped Tuesday night in J.E.'s hometown of Atlanta. I won't spoil what happens, but given the history of WWE weddings, don't be surprised if the ceremony becomes a complete circus.
