New Music: Babyface - "Not Going Nowhere"
Thursday September 13, 2007
One of the biggest R&B-pop stars of the 1990s, Babyface, is releasing his 11th album, Playlist, on Sept. 18. Playlist, which will come out on the newly-relaunched Mercury Records, is an album of mostly cover songs, with Babyface remaking tunes originally recorded by folk and pop artists like James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton and Jim Croce. Although the album won't be out until next Tuesday in the U.S., you can stream a brand-new Babyface song from the album right here. The song, "Not Going Nowhere," is basically a letter to 'Face's children, talking about how he'll be there for them, even though he and their mother aren't together anymore.
