On Aug. 7 Blue Note Records released a four-song, digital EP by alternative R&B artist Van Hunt called The Popular Machine. The EP is a preview of Van's new full-length album, Popular, which is due out in January, 2008. For a limited time, you can listen to the full Popular Machine EP online at the Blue Note website. The EP includes two new songs, "Turn My TV On" and "The Lowest 1 Of My Desires," that will also be on Popular, plus acoustic versions of "Feelings" and "Break Down Ur Down," which are songs on Van's second album, 2006's On the Jungle Floor.
