R&B News and Rumors: 04/14/07 Edition

Some of the more interesting news, rumors and tidbits from the past week:
- Janet Jackson will have to give a deposition under oath after her lawyers failed in their attempt to have an assault lawsuit against Janet and her man, Jermaine Dupri, thrown out.
- Young soul singer Ryan Shaw was recently profiled in Paste magazine. (A review of Ryan's debut album, This Is Ryan Shaw, will be posted on this site in a couple of days.)
- Billboard magazine reports that even though The Isley Bros. are touring in support of their current album, they're already working on music for their next album.
- Ne-Yo says Whitney Houston's new comeback album was boring until he was brought in to liven it up.
- R&B/Soul singer Jon B. supposedly has a new album called Back to Love coming out in the Spring.
- Bobby Brown's got a new woman, but it looks like Macy Gray wants her.
