"American Idol" Contestant Tatiana - a Star in the Making

Thursday February 1, 2007
Tatiana McConnico and E. Walter SmithIf you watched "American Idol" on Tues., Jan. 31, you may have seen a 17-year-old girl named Tatiana McConnico wow the judges with her rendition of Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved A Man." Well as it turns out, Tati may be young, but she's not inexperienced. At the age of 13, Tatiana competed in the junior singer division of the CBS talent show Star Search. Also among her past work is a duet called "Little Girl," which she recorded with Atlanta-area vocalist E. Walter Smith. Mr. Smith was kind enough to share the song with the About R&B site, and it's now available for you to stream by clicking on the link below. For more on the song, visit TheLittleGirlSong.com.
