Joss Stone feat. Common - "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do"

Tuesday January 30, 2007
Joss Stone: Tell Me What We're Gonna Do NowLast night (Jan. 29, 2007), yours truly had the pleasure of seeing British Soul singer Joss Stone perform live at Fox Studios in Los Angeles. The appearance was taped as part of the "Nissan Live Sets" concert series, and will be available for streaming on the Yahoo! Music website starting March 15, 2007. In the meantime, here's another song from Joss's new album, Introducing Joss Stone, which comes out March 20. The song, "Tell Me What We Gonna Do," features the rapper Common, and in my humble opinion, is one of the better songs she's ever recorded. To stream it and judge for yourself, just click on a link below.

I hear where you’re comin’ from BMOC, the music – especially the intro – does sound a lot like that version of “No Woman No Cry.” But in my humble opinion, although the 2 songs have similar music, the vocals sound completely different.
