New Music: Tyrese - "One" and "Turn Ya Out"
Monday December 11, 2006
Singer-actor Tyrese Gibson returns to music tomorrow (Dec. 12, 2006) with the release of his double-CD Alter Ego; one disc features Tyrese singing, while the other disc features his Hip-Hop alter ego, Black-Ty, rapping. Not just one or two, but three debut singles were released to promote the album: a slow-winding song called "One," the mid-tempo R&B jam "Turn Ya Out," (feat. Lil Jon) and the Black-Ty rap track "Get It In," which features Method Man. To stream "One" or "Turn Ya Out," just click on a link below. And by the way, you can download a Black-Ty hip-hop mixtape called Ghetto Royalty - legally, for free and in its entirety - at his website.

This is a hottttt song. I love it. It’s about time that Tyrese came back on the scene to reclaim his thrown as king!
I received two copies of his rap side of the double-cd. Not feeling the whole Alter Ego gimmick. He needs to stop that madness. And lol at all those rappers who cosigned him.
Yeah, Riz: I’ve only heard the R&B disc, plus the Black-Ty mixtape, but – doesn’t Black Ty sound JUST LIKE Ras Kass?! The simularities are so striking, it’s scary.
