Review: Tamia - Between Friends
Thursday November 16, 2006
On her fourth album, the Canadian singer Tamia fails to do anything noteworthy enough to distinguish herself from the legions of other pretty-faced/moderately talented singers out there. That's not to say that she can't sing - she actually has a strong, clear voice. But what she doesn't have, however, is: a) strong emotive abilities; b) a wide vocal range, c) a distinctive singing style and d) much of a personality. For further analysis, check out your R&B Guide's review of Tamia's new album, Between Friends.
