Elisabeth Withers (also known as Elisabeth Withers-Mendez) has spent the past couple of years making a name for herself as a member of the Broadway production of the Color Purple. But now the former backup vocalist is ready to storm the world of R&B, a la another Broadway performer, Heather Headley. Withers' debut album, It Can Happen to Anyone, isn't due in stores Jan. 30, 2007, but the first single, a sophisticated mid-tempo number called "Be With You" has already been released. For the past three weeks I have looked for the name of this song….oh my Goodness - Gyrl, Ms. Withers did her thing on this one. I appreciate it because I can only let you imagine what is going to happen with this song in the background playing…..
This is one of the most erotic and sexy songs on the market and it is done with mature taste. 4 stars for Ms. Withers as she delivers and youngsters please take notice that you can be sexy without looking like a video vixen and rap video groupie. Why is it not on 93.9 and 95.5 Washington D.C.? 96.3 and 102.3 are the only stations playing this treasure.
I have been listening to the radio for days and emailing the DJ’s with the lyrics to this song. They never say the title when they play it - This song is great. I finally heard it on 105.3 kiss fm and went on their website and saw the name. Thank you 105.3

When I first heard this song, I fell in love with it, the beat is off the chain, and the lyrics, I am speechless. It is a song I could dance the night away. I went from my girl Heather Headley, Tamia to Serena Johnson. I kept calling the radio station but couldnt get through and finally someone answered my prayers,lol. ELIZABETH WITHERS, U GO GIRL. Wow!!! Being from the old school and loving the Anita Bakers, the Shalimar sounds as well as the sounds of Loose Ends. All had powerful Female lead singers. This song will make you want to undress Yourself or Someone Else
