- John Legend will chat live with fans on his website, johnlegend.com, at 7 pm Eastern time on Mon., Oct. 23. He also will take part in an autograph signing/live performance Tues., Oct. 24 at 6 PM at the Virgin Megastore Union Square in New York City. Visit Legend's website for more details.

- Tyrese's new R&B/Rap album, Alter Ego, has been pushed back two weeks to Dec. 19, according to Billboard.com.
- Former BLACKstreet singer Chauncy Black (remember him?) has joined Busta Rhymes' Flipmode Squad clique and will release a new solo album, Church Boy, in 2007.
- The Philadelphia Daily News has an insightful interview with Soul singer Jeremiah, including the answer to why he recorded the song "Love For Awhile" with Shanice.
