New Music Week: Friday - Johnta Austin
Friday August 18, 2006
Johnta Austin isn't a name that's well-known to most R&B fans, but he's definitely well-known behind the scenes. Johnta's the songwriter behind such hits as Toni Braxton's "Just Be A Man (About It)," Aaliyah's "Miss You," Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" and "Sweet Lady," recorded by R&B singer Tyrese. Johnta's So So Def/Virgin Records debut album, Ocean Drive, will be released later in 2006. But in the meantime, here's his current single, "Turn It Up."
