New Music Week: Monday - Emily King
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages: you are about to witness a first in the history of the About R&B website, and possibly a first in the history of About.com. We interrupt your regular programming to bring you New Music Week. Each day this week - including Saturday - we'll spotlight a fresh new R&B single. Some of the songs have made it to the radio, some haven't. Some are by established artists like Monica and John Legend, some are by relative unknowns like Johnta Austin and Midwest City. Today we start off VERY strong with the excellent new single by the singer Emily King. today and behalf of Laid Back, I cleared a sample of “White Horse” that’s used in a remix-with-rap version of this song soon out. And what a great song it is, having also checked the original single version here. It could do well in Europe BTW!
