Anyone who's listened to a good amount of R&B and/or Hip-Hop in the past few years knows that the line between the two forms of music has become increasingly blurred; contemporary R&B has shifted more toward the gritty urban feel of Hip-Hop, and Rap music has incorporated some of R&B's smooth melodies. But R&B/Hip-Hop team-ups are nothing new - in fact they go back decades.
